July 19th

Friday morning Alyson and I played with her toys. She sat in the chair with me for a long time eating Cherrios and playing with one of her toys that lights up. She actually figured out how to turn it on herself this morning and she was really proud of herself and kept showing me.

Later we played in her room and she crawled over me from side to side like a jungle gym. Haha!!

We met my friend, Kelly, for lunch at La Madeline and had a great time catching up. Alyson loved the potato soup, french onion soup, and bread that we ordered. She was really good while we ate and talked. Another family sat down next to us with two little boys and she babbled back and forth with them for a long time. :) After we finished eating, we went over to Nothing Bundt Cakes with Kelly. They were having a buy 3 get 1 free sale, so we spilt the deal between us. We had a sample of white white chocolate in the store...Alyson ate ALL of my sample. I've got to say, the girl loves cake!!! Our flavors we bought were chocolate chocolate chip and lemon. Mmmmm!! We had a good time seeing Kelly and hope to see her again soon before school starts.

After lunch we came home to relax. My sister called asking if we were home. She had some gifts to bring by that her and Sau had picked up for us while away. She came over for a little while and we talked while Alyson played. Alyson was able to show her all the things she has learned since Kat had been away. She wanted to read her books so she got one and got in her Aunt Kacky's lap for her to read it to her. So sweet!!

Around the time Kathryn started to leave, we realized it was time for us to leave to go to Honey's for dinner. We ended up being the first one's to get to Honey's house, so we were able to sit and talk with him for a little bit. Alyson was a major Momma's girl all night and didn't want to go to anyone for very long if I was in her line of sight. We had a good time and great food!!
