Here are some pictures of the nursery as promised. Again, they were taken from my phone so they are not the greatest quality. It will give you an idea of what it looks like though. If you'd like to see it in person, you're welcome over any time!!
The crib (close up in another picture).
One end of the room. We will be getting some type of bookshelf system to cover the treadmill a little. We liked the idea of having the treadmill in the room to walk or run while the baby is playing. Maybe that will motivate us to use it a little more often? ;) Thanks to Mamaw for making the wall hanging!!
Thanks to Mamaw for making the curtains to match the rest of the fabrics!
The dresser/changing table. I need to go find some knobs, we're missing 1.
The other corner of the room. Eventually the glider in the living room will go here, but I sit in it a lot still right now so we're waiting a little bit to move it in here.
The closets and quilt rack with all the baby's blankets on it. Thanks to everyone that has made the baby a blanket/quilt...Cindy Smith, Mamaw, Suzi, and Mom!!
The baby's closet and all the clothes. My brother doesn't think the baby will ever be small enough to fit in anything newborn. He says anyone with Wilburn blood was never small to begin with. Haha!!
Hooch enjoying resting in the baby's room. He's going to be protective of his new little brother or sister.
Mollie sitting with me in the baby's room. I think she'll eventually be protective of her little brother/sister, but she has a big adjustment ahead of her. :/
The crib up close. Thanks to Suzi for the pillow that inspired all the other fabrics in the room, as well as the cute tiny neck pillow. Thanks to Mom for helping and ending up making the crib skirt and rail covers for me!!
Also thanks to Rachael, Kay, and Carl for helping Justin paint the room. Thanks to Carl and Sherry for coming over to paint the stripes for us. Thanks to my Mom for coming over and helping do some of the touch ups along the stripes. Thanks to David and Justin Goetz for helping Justin move furniture and change out outlets. We are so appreciative of all the help everyone has given us!!
A special thanks to my amazing husband. He has been working so hard to make the nursery an amazing place for us to bring our baby home to even though he/she will not spend a lot of time in it at the beginning. He has done everything I've asked without complaining even though I know there were times he didn't want to work and did it anyway. He has gone above and beyond to keep his pregnant wife happy, and for that he's my hero!! :)
