We had our 12 week appointment with the doctor on February 9, 2012. The nurse had a hard time finding the heartbeat and it started making me really nervous. She went to go get our doctor to see if she could find it before ordering another sonogram. Our doctor was able to find the heartbeat and the sound made all the anxiety and nervousness disappear. It was such a relief!! Here is baby Squishy's heartbeat at 12 weeks!! (The baby was a size of a lime at 12 weeks!!)
Justin was able to ask our doctor some questions while at this visit. She told him that he would be able to take pictures of the baby after he/she is born. She said the nurses are really good about letting the Dad know when a good photo opportunity arrises (as long as it's a normal delivery and there are no emergencies). Justin also found out that he will be able to cut the cord, which he's really excited about as well!! He'll have a great time during delivery seeing his little baby being born. He's gonna be a great Dad!!
